/ 01 — Scope of work

What we do for restaurants.

01

Exhaust fans

Roof and wall-mounted kitchen exhaust fans. Belt drives, direct drives, motor replacement, bearings, damper actuators. We keep them moving the right CFM.

02

Make-up air units (MAUs)

CaptiveAire, Greenheck, Reznor, Modine, Accurax. Gas/electric heat sections, evaporative cooling, supply & exhaust balancing to keep the kitchen at neutral pressure.

03

Dining room comfort

Splits, RTUs, and ductwork serving the front-of-house. Comfort matters as much as the cook line — and your guests notice when it's off.

/ 02 — Work order flow

How we work with restaurants.

Step / 01

Schedule around your hours

We come in whenever works for your operation — we accommodate you. The dining room stays open, that's the whole point.

Step / 02

Walk the line with you

Your chef and FOH manager know things the equipment doesn't tell us. We listen first, diagnose second.

Step / 03

Fix & rebalance

Repairs on the truck or scheduled with parts. We make sure the work is done right the first time.

Step / 04

Service report

Written documentation of what we did, what we found, and what to watch for next. Something you can hand to an inspector, a landlord, or file for your own records.

/ 03 — Common questions

People ask us about this a lot.

Q01Can you work during the dinner rush?

We'd rather not — and you'd rather we didn't. We work around your service hours and accommodate whatever schedule keeps your dining room open.

Q02My MAU isn't keeping up with my exhaust. Is that fixable?

Almost always. It's usually a balance issue, a CFM mismatch from a hood swap that wasn't re-balanced, or a heat section that's undersized for Chicago winters. We measure, then we fix.
